Posting your logo on your web page

Posted by marcia on February 27, 2007

Hi,

For those of you who are trying to figure out how to post your logo on your webpage:

First, open the .psd file in Photoshop. Then click on File > Save for the Web.

For the file type, choose .jpg or .gif image file that you can upload to your www folder on Bengal. Choose .gif if you need a transparent background (the background of your website is going to be something other than white).

Note: don’t save any changes to your .psd as you want to preserve all of the layers

Then, use Dreamweaver to insert the image on your webpage.
