My logo comprised of not knowing what exactly I was suppose to do for this assignment and trying to figure out a different/unique design that no one else would have. I went with the “broken” style of writing because it can symbolize a part of me and/or just be a cool text to show as my name. I didn’t have many fonts to choose from on the computers with photoshop so I went with the most manipulatable font. The color of orange is just a favorite color of mine. It also happens to be able to draw attention because it is closely related to red, and red is an attraction color. I still have yet to completely decide if this is my final work, but for now this is what i have.

I tried to design my logo at simple as a could, but I still wanted it to look good. As a photographer I want the logo to be simple and nothing to bold. Color wise I stay with a pale yellow and then black and white. Font I also tried to stay simple, I tried using capital letters but I did not like it. So overall I think that my logo is simple and nothing to crazy or advanced for a photograhy website. Here is my Logo.

I created my logo to reflect my personality. Although handwriting fonts are not as easy to read as other fonts such as Arial or Georgia, I think it is still practical. I wanted a handwriting font because it has a more creative feel than other type faces. But to increase readability I chose a handwriting font in print not script so that the letters would have more punch space between the letters. I chose a blue flower because it’s has a calming effect but is still feminine. I had my letters encircle the flower to create a soft rounded shape. Lastly, I chose black for my logo’s text because it is easiest to read on a white background.

I am in the begginning stages of designing my logo. I choose the colors pink and grey to work with thus far. I think pink is a very bright color that stands out very well on a dark background, which draws the viewers eyes. Then I choose a font that was easliy visable with clear distint letter space, wide punch length, and enough height to be seen. I then choose to texturize the letters and give them an outerglow to help draw attention. I am not completelty done with my logo, but I am getting close.
