On this website I saw that they used a base color (the beigh medium background), a dominant color (the massive amount of green in the main background) and a highlight color (the yellow). This website caught my eye becasue it was very bright and the colors went well together. (www.crayola.com)
On (http://websitetips.com/color/) had a great layout. It has a very rich combination to where there were hues of royalty culture.
(http://www.mcdonalds.com/) The homepage for McDonalds was very surprising and would seemingly be lite up and colorful but on the contrary was very dull and dark. It mainly had one dominant color, black. I was not impressed.

A couple of images talkled about in the reading really caught my attention. I didn’t realize that Ben Stiller ordered the digital erasing fo the World Trade Center towers from his movie “Zoolander”. I think that what happens in the past is the past and life goes on. I don’t think it is necessary to go back and erase shots of material that occured after a movie has been made. Also from the reading, it talked about how some highschool student year books have been tampered with. That some students didn’t like thier smile so they went in and traded it with someone else’s. I think that this is unapproriate. Some photos from the website that really caught my eye was the use of Oprah’s head and a model’s body. I think that is wrong since the photographers did not get thier permission. The picture of the National Geographic and the smushed together moutains, I believe is okay. You can hardly tell they did anything to the mountains. And I’m sure that the mountains won’t get mad and throw a fit either.

This past summer I enrolled in the Field Production communication class with Steve Price. I had no idea what I was getting myself into by taking that class. The first day of class Steve proceeded to tell us that we would hardly be in the class room and that we would be producing a legit music video. A client had contacted him and had asked him to produce a music video for a rapper in the Jeff City Jail who travels around to different highschools explaining right from wrong. It was a great experience and I learned a lot about music videos, but what I really remember was using the computer to put it all together. Until then, I had no experience with any tpye of computer programs that could actually make movies or music videos for that matter. Everyone in the class was assigned different scenes to produce, edit on the computer, and then submit for the final version (using Final Cut). It was so difficult to understand the concept of putting the footage on the computer, then lining up the music with the footage, and then making sure it all made sense. It was a great experience and after the music video was complete I felt as if my computer literacy skill level had definitely gone up.

The first website I found that shows great color combination is Sephora. Although it is just black and white it is intense. As for the removing colour, it allows you to focus on the design and advertisement. http://www.sephora.com/
The next website I found that created great color combinations was crayola crayons. It is an active vibrant combination that features bright colors from the wheel. As said in the reading it shows a young image, probably due to the fact their audience is children. http://www.crayola.com/
The last website I choose that gave great color combinations was revlon makeup. It shows numerous colors from the wheel by showing a slide show. It shows a very rich effect. It shows several different colors that are very vibrant and draw the readers eye. http://www.revlon.com/
