Rebecca Blood’s article about weblogs began by discussing their increase in popular over the past few years. There started off being a list full of all the 23 known weblogs done by Cameron Barrett. At first, weblogs were difficult to manufacture because the editor had to be thoroughly educated with html code and how to design a website. Now, weblogs may easily be created by many services. This has allowed for more individuals to publish their thoughts and ideas quickly. The increasing number of weblogs has changed the content of weblogs from being focused on the “web-at-large” to a more personal, journal format. Blogs are most popularly being used today as a way of recording a person’s thoughts, insights, feelings, or to argue an opinion. Blogs are able to produce these kinds of subject matters because of the fact that there are no restrictions placed on the content that can be posted.
